Hi everyone, I haven't posted in awhile, been trying to help out family members in the San Leone Galveston area.  It sure puts many things into perspective.  Things like:  People do care, and there is hope.  No matter what I don't have, someone else just down the road may have less.  Giving is a really truly great way to receive. 

Does anyone remember the story where the rich give and give with great pomp and circumstance surrounding it, and how upset they were that the little old women who had very little, but gave of what she had anyway, was blessed more....just a thought. 

I am off to give a ride to a few people who need to get back to their jobs in Houston/Galveston, even if they don't have a home, so to speak, they are thankful for the ride and that their job still exists.  I don't have extra cash for gas, but the riders are filling the tank, please keep us in your prayers that my car makes one more long distance trip,lololol.

That was so nice of you ekikaseven.  It is a beautiful prayer, and it's message a comfort.

  The community of San Leon are a fine group of people.  As we worked to remove debris, 2 ladies came around with burgers and dogs...just going around the neighborhood and feeding everyone they see.  These ladies are not affiliated with any org.  just doing something nice for their community.  Another truck was driving around handing out bottled water, just because.  Lots of older citizens there, nice to be able to give a hand where needed.  The weekend was a nice lesson in appreciating what I have been given.  I have been humbly reminded to give a louder voice to my Blessings than my laments!

Pease bless 'K".  Bless all of the people who are affected by the hurricanes.  Help them to get their lives rebuilt speedily.  Provide for all their needs.  Please bless all the ones who were in those train wrecks, bless them to heal speedily.  Comfort all the loved ones who lost people.  Provide for all the needs of the ones who come here on AidPage.  Please heal all of Your sick children.  Please remember my dear sister.  Heal her, make her whole, give her many days in the land of the living.  Reward all those who do 'good' for others, even if they just they say a word of encouragement or a prayer.  Thank You for answering this prayer.  Amen.
